I am using Aureolin Yellow and New Gamboge, very wet, like weak tea, and scribbling on a light, rough wash over the entire building. The building doesn't have to be covered entirely, this is just an underpainting that will give a foundation to future glazes.

Arches Study Workshop 5
At this stage, I have allowed the painting to dry completely. 
I am using Aureolin Yellow and New Gamboge, very wet, like weak tea, and scribbling on a light, rough wash over the entire building. The building doesn't have to be covered entirely, this is just an underpainting that will give a foundation to future glazes.
